Family-Friendly Spaces
2024 Updates

This is the 9th summer we have ran our Family-FriendlySpaces (FFS) program. We are proud to announce, this year 55 spaces will open their doors to over 2,000 children of workers in the supply chain.

This year is especially important for us. For the first time, we are opening childcare spaces in communities, in addition to the in-factory facilities we have facilitated since 2016. Out of the 55 spaces offered this year, four will be community-based centers.

Our Family-Friendly Spaces program provides secure and well-equipped spaces, at factories and in communities, for children to learn and play while their parents work. The program promotes child-friendly employment practices, supports the United Nations SDGs: 3, 4, 5, 10 & 17 and allows parents to work free from the expense and burden of childcare.

The Family-Friendly Spaces program not only benefits workers and their families, but is proven to produce measurable business benefits for factories including improved worker retention rates, reduced training costs and becoming the employer of choice in their communities.

We will be regularly posting on this page over the summer period, keeping you updated on the weekly activities in the spaces. Make sure to check our Twitter, LinkedIn & WeChat (QR code in website footer) accounts for more updates.

Special thanks to this year’s sponsors and participating factories, details of which can be found at the bottom of this page.
