Our robust social certification empowers businesses to mitigate the risk of supply chain disruption and as a result, ensuring products arrive on shelf on time.

We are proud to have Schleich as a member of the ICTI Ethical Toy Program (IETP) and will highlight their achievements and sustainability goals in this article.  The iconic brand has been a member of our program since 2019, and include “The Human being in focus” as one of its core sustainability pillars.

As the specialist responsible program designed by the industry for the industry, the ICTI Ethical Toy Program (IETP) offers a trusted certification program to help brands and retailers improve supply chain transparency and strengthen supply chain stability, as a result, meeting both regulatory requirements and customers’ expectations that their products are ethically made and have continuity of supply.

As our members think about their objectives and priorities for 2022 it is timely that I share with you some of our plans for next year. IETP’s purpose is to support our member companies achieve their responsible sourcing objectives. We will continue to do this by evolving our organization to develop, and successfully deliver, new services.

2022 marks two years since we started our Social Impact Assessments, a verified-remote assessment which scores the maturity of a company's social compliance systems in place implementing responsible labor standards. Businesses, of all sizes and sectors, that have experienced the cost-effective remote Social Impact Assessment (SIA) have since become supporters of the program, enquiring with IETP to further deploy the program to new sectors and areas.

30 May 2023, Hong Kong SARFor workers and their children, the Family-Friendly Spaces program transforms parent-child relationships, and supports the developmental needs of their children. Working parents do not need to worry about their children during the summer months and can more easily concentrate on their work, knowing their children are adequately provided for. The program helps increase employee satisfaction and improves staff turnover rates, with many workers expressing they now wished to continue working at their Family-Friendly Factory.
