We’ve reached the 3rd week of the 2025 Family-Friendly Spaces (FFS) and it’s been filled with laughter, curiosity, and joy! This week, the children’s activities were even more exciting. In addition to fun workshops inside the factories, they also ventured out to explore new and fascinating outdoor places.
Program sponsors delivered even more books and educational toys, including puzzles, building blocks, art supplies, stuffed animals, and activity cards — giving the kids more resources to play freely and express their creativity with.
More and more factories are getting involved by organizing thoughtful activities and outings. Some children learned how to make dumplings and about traditional Chinese food culture. Others visited science museums to explore technology and innovation, while some took trips to cultural heritage sites to get a feel for local history. One factory even invited a pottery teacher to help kids create their very own creations out of clay.
Beyond the classes and outings, there was plenty of time for fun and play. A factory set up inflatable pools and bubble machines to help kids cool off and play in the summer heat. Others took children to amusement parks or out to restaurants for a delicious meal after a long day of activities.
As the program continues through the summer holidays, the Spaces are becoming warm and happy places in the hearts of the children — where they are surrounded by friends, guided by caring teachers, and supported by the presence of their parents.
Through all these thoughtfully planned activities, we hope to give every child a summer full of joy, safety, and meaningful memories!
