19 July, 15:00-16:30 HKT, Online & In-personWe have partnered with The Mekong Club and are delighted to invite you to a meeting to discuss the importance of effective grievance channels in workplaces across Asia and specifically how to expand the existing ICF Worker Helpline to provide an effective solution for companies. Why is it important?55% of global modern slavery occurs in the Asia-Pacific region, 86% of which is found in the private sector. Helplines give workers a voice to express their grievances & alert businesses to the many forms of Modern Day Slavery such as Forced Labour, Child Labour, Debt Bondage, etc.Legislative ComplianceExisting & Upcoming global legislation is requiring companies to provide an effective grievance mechanism channel to all the workers in their supply chain. Finding ways to enhance supply chain transparency is no longer an option, but a necessity.
