Hong Kong SAR, December 20, 2023: Today, the ICTI Ethical Toy Program releases the first impact report for the Gender Equality program. The Gender Equality program was developed in response to the needs of manufacturing workers. Initial program development was funded by program member, Mattel. In 2022, the program was piloted at 12 factories in mainland China.

Hong Kong SAR, October 31, 2023: Today, the ICTI Ethical Toy Program releases the impact report for its 2023 Family-Friendly Spaces Program, the multi-beneficial social initiative designed to improve the lives of manufacturing workers while producing measurable business benefits for manufacturing businesses and their partners. The report outlines the impacts and achievements created by the program, in its eighth year of operation.

Hong Kong SAR, February 29, 2024: Today, the Ethical Supply Chain Program releases the first impact report for the Family-Friendly Factory program.

The peak season for toy manufacturer is fast approaching. Statistics from the Ethical Toy Program show that on average toy factory worker numbers can fluctuate by as much as 58% between high and low season.

Following the success of the two online workshops held this year for suppliers in Vietnam, our local team in Vietnam will organize a third training session in September in collaboration with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on health and safety issues in toy factories in Vietnam.
