To further promote transparency in the supply chain, Shared Value Initiative Hong Kong, will host a Social Impact Learning Expedition to one of our certified facilities in Yingde, Guangdong, China.

The visit will provide an opportunity to better understand how to embed social impact throughout your operations or value chain, including:

• Enhancing worker well-being and retention, while improving overall performance
• Better integrating sustainable community practices into your supply chain management
• Partnering with non-profits and other industry players to accelerate transformation
• Building a sustainable supply chain from both social and environmental perspectives
• Integrating technologies to mitigate environmental impact

Expedition Program:

Wednesday, 16 October

9:00 am – Departure from Shenzhen; bus to Yingde 英德
12:00 pm – Welcome lunch for participants
1:30 pm – Introduction session and tour of Best Top Toys Co.Ltd Factory and sustainability features
3:00 pm – Debrief & key takeaways
4:00 pm – Visit to the family-friendly space and family sharing
5:00 pm – Trip to the Shampoola Holiday Hotel and break
6:30 pm – Reflection roundtable during dinner

Thursday, 17 October

7:30 am – Breakfast followed by bus trip back to Shenzhen
11:30 am – Arrival in Shenzhen and dismissal
